Out of Place - Shoreditch, London
Drawn over two days, the first was spent deep in the woods drawing a 600 year old chestnut. The second day setting up an easel in the grit of Shoreditch, London. These two very different atmospheres come together to create an entirely imagined and unique sense of place and time. The unexpected combination prompts contemplation about our relationship with nature in a fast-paced world. The artwork symbolises the resilience of nature amidst the transient nature of our lives, challenging our perceptions and inviting us to reconsider the harmony between the natural and man-made worlds.
